 Hello this week for Maths was to complete a statistical investigation by collecting, displaying and discussing data

Mostyn and I did our Maths together, Mostyn took two year 7 boys and two year 7 Girls. and I took two year 8 boys and two year 8 girls

Amazing Reading

For the next 2 weeks we will be creating an idea that Christchurch's community needs we read 2 books about New Zealand and now its time to start a plan  

Plan

My plan is to make a water park because Christchurch doesn't have many water slides but this isn't an ordinary water park. This is a really big and cool water park. Made in a bubble that keeps natural disasters out and money in. Ethan and I will work together. he is doing a amusement park. See you SOON for an update

Mapping mission

This week in maths we learnt how to use mapping skills to communicate your location and measure distances.

Rescue Mission, Ōnawe Pa I know that this isn't going to be easy but  I'll do it.   

You are the warriors chosen by your Rangatira to lead a rescue mission. You are safe at home at Kaiapoi Pa but have heard news of your kinsmen in distress. Ōnawe Pa is under attack and you must get there as soon as possible to rescue those who are under threat and help fight against  Te Rauparaha’s advancing war party. You have been given the following brief:

 

so that's what we had to do  the walking distance would be 19 hours and a 30 something mins with some stops on the way.

The direct route would be on water.

Awesome Pa Week

This Week for Work our focus was Pa. A Pa is like a Maori village or place to live. So lets start with maths. For maths we created our own pa me and Mostyn did it together. Here was our protect. 

   Now for Reading. We made an ad about a pa this was fun because you had to be like a Real estate person.  

Now on to writing this time me and Mostyn did a video about our pa but sadly I don't have the video.
